Nearly Home Trees, Half Way, Cookworthy Knapp, Cluster Of Trees, Coming Home, Almost There, Going Home, Green Seaglass, Handmade In Cornwall
The beloved 'Nearly Home' Trees can be found on the A30 near Lifton right on the border between Devon and Cornwall. They are a familiar sight for anyone on their travels and for most people it's the home stretch to Cornwall.
By home stretch I meant two or more hours left of the Journey (for myself).
The cherished site is also known as Cookworthy Knapp, the clump of 140 beech trees have be there for over 120 years. There are a few stories to why they were planted in the first place, one of them being constructed by a farmer in memory of his late wife and an aerial view forms a heart shape. One of the more romantic stories so I'm sticking with this!
A lovely gift to give to someone or just a great addition to your home.
Perfect to a place in an entryway, lounge or office area as a cheerful reminder of your travels, family and happy memories.
Please note: All my artwork is made to order, some may vary in colour and size due to the natural materials used to create the artwork.
